Dispatch and Delivery Information

All items displayed as available for sale are in stock, at least in small quantities. If you require larger quantities please get in touch as they may be available through our other outlets. Orders of in-stock items will usually be dispatched in 1-3 days. There may be occasions where dispatch is delayed but this should be for no longer than 5 days. Orders are usually dispatched every working day of the week as we want you to enjoy your purchase as soon as possible!

We charge separately for the items you buy and for their delivery. We find that this offers you, the customer, the lowest overall cost. We could offer 'free' delivery but the cost of delivery would of course be added to every individual item purchased resulting in a higher total charge. The delivery rate calculated at checkout is reflective of the actual costs of delivery, increasing with weight and size. The cost of postage can only be calculated once your basket is complete and your delivery address has been entered.

UK Deliveries - Additional information

Small, light items will usually be sent by either Royal Mail or Hermes. If you are ordering 1 item the postage will be in the region of £3 for GB, slightly more for Northern Ireland. The cost of postage then increases as the total size and value of the items increase. We aim to only charge the actual cost for postage.

International Deliveries – EU

We are really sorry but we are currently unable to sell to the EU due to the new UK/EU VAT rules. EU customers are still able to purchase from Bijou Boxes on Etsy. We are really sorry for this inconvenience.

Delivery Acceptance

Most couriers offer a tracked service and some require either a signature on delivery or a 'safe place' to leave the package. If the courier is unable to complete the delivery, they should leave a 'missed delivery' slip with details of how to re-arrange delivery.
